Quoting a portion of a report by Bob Uruth, World Net Daily, about the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco that voters do have the right to define in their state constitution marriage as being between one man and one woman, he wrote, “According to the Los Angeles Times, the discussion was “spirited,” but one of the judges, Stephen Reinhardt, who previously has struck down plans to support traditional marriage and refused to step down from the case when critics pointed out his wife actively worked to defeat Prop 8, was unconvinced.

“How does [the argument] relate to having two males or two females marry each other and have children as they have in California,” he questioned, the Times reported.”

It is a fact of nature that two males or two females cannot procreate, the primary purpose of cohabitation which mankind call marriage.

John McCain’s landslide victory over J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona RNC Primary just confirms what most true conservatives already knew: the Republican Party has devolved into a massive, hazy ball of abject confusion and entangled principles.  (more…)

I have been closely following the Primary Elections in the various states to this point.  There have been twelve so far in addition to three Special Elections with Hawai’i having a Special Election on May 22.

By my count, 74 Governors, Senators and Congressmen will not be part of the November General Elections, the “mid-terms.”  Some of the Governors are stopped by term limits, some Senators and Congressmen are retiring (wonder why?), one has been denied the nomination of his Party for reelection, Bob Bennett of Utah, two have been kicked out in the Primary, Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and Alan Mollohan of West Virginia,.  Two have resigned due to scandal, Mark Souder from Indiana and Eric Massa from New York.  Several others are running for another national or state office. I got the strangest thing in my mail today.  It’s a questionnaire from the Republican National Party.  They want me to fill it out giving them my feelings about issues facing Americans. (more…)

Obviously, the Conservative Voice is being heard more loudly than we thought.  Democrats in the House and Senate are “retiring” two at a time.  Not just the “keep a low profile” Dems either – these are the big guns. (more…)
